LOSAP Program – Length of Service Benefit - as an active responder you will be entitled to a yearly benefit paid into your personal account.  Additional information on the program can be provided in your discussion with the membership representative. 

Life-Saving skills that you will carry with you for life. For example: would you know what to do if a loved one is having a stroke, or injured and bleeding traumatically, or choking, or requires CPR or other interventions?  Your EMT training will teach you how to intervene and save a life (it might even be a loved one)!

If you are interested in a career in the Health Care profession, a nurse, doctor, technician, this will give the practical experience firsthand for those fields.  In the competitive application process for education, this can tip the scales through demonstrated hands on experience.

Be part of the solution in helping your neighbors get immediate care and transport to the hospital- "have you ever sat on the sidelines and wished you could help out, but didn't know what to do?" We will pay for your training that will empower you as a first responder and you will learn what to do in an emergency.
